Oupus Organics was born in Sabah from a heart for care — care for skin, care for families, and care for community. In the beginning, Oupus started as a handmade skincare brand inspired by women’s wellness, self-care, and the richness of Borneo botanicals. Our founder, Vellarry, was passionate about exploring local Sabahan ingredients such as Bambangan seed and turning them into meaningful personal care products.
As the brand grew, our purpose became more personal. Through customer stories and Vellarry’s own journey as a mother of children with eczema-prone skin, she began to understand the fear and frustration faced by sensitive-skin families. Many parents and adults are tired of products that feel too harsh, sting the skin, or do not support the skin barrier. This experience became a turning point for Oupus Organics.
Today, Oupus Organics focuses on handcrafted skincare for eczema-prone, dry, and sensitive skin. Our products are made in small batches in our Sabah workshop using carefully selected ingredients, slow-infused botanicals, and gentle formulations designed to support sensitive skin.
We are not a big factory brand. We are a small, hands-on skincare workshop where every product is prepared with care, intention, and close attention to quality. Our handmade process allows us to stay close to our ingredients, our customers, and the people behind every product.
